Newfoundland: West Coast to Bonavista Peninsula

The journey included a five-hour ferry ride from North Sydney to Newfoundland, followed by a 16-hour return trip. Exploration featured scenic landscapes, visits to Gros Morne National Park, Twillingate, and the Bonavista Peninsula, as well as cultural experiences like a music show and the Beothuk Interpretation Centre, enriching our adventure. And, of course, puffins!

Cabot Trail and Surrounds

On a recent trip to the Atlantic Provinces, the travelers dedicated five nights to exploring the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island. Despite a trail access ban due to fire risks, they enjoyed scenic drives, cultural sites like the Alexander Graham Bell Museum, and picturesque locations such as Pleasant Bay, while concluding their trip in Sydney and North Sydney.

Prince Edward Island (twice)

The visit to Prince Edward Island (PEI) evolved from initial skepticism due to past impressions to a more positive experience. The trip included exploring Charlottetown, enjoying scenic views, and the beautiful coastal routes. Highlights were staying at a chef-run accommodation and visiting various lighthouses, despite experiencing quiet areas like Summerside.

Atlantic Canada: Moncton to Wolfville

The journey began in Moncton, chosen for its rental car deal and upcoming housesit. After exploring the tidal bore, local culture, and enjoying a BBQ festival, the trip continued to the Acadian Peninsula, Fredericton, Saint Andrews, and Saint John, before culminating in Annapolis Royal and Wolfville, highlighting coastal attractions and vibrant local communities.
